The obituary always lands at the end of the day.

The arrangement runs long. There's a visitation, a removal, a family who needs a call back. Then someone sits down at 10 p.m. to turn a page of notes into the words a family will read for the rest of their lives.

Your directors are exceptional at caring for families. They shouldn't also have to be writers on deadline. That part, we take off their plate.

Included for every family

Two versions. Same facts. The family chooses.

Some families want something traditional. Others want a story they'll frame. Every obituary comes both ways, and families can mix lines from each.

Portrait of Peggy Hollis as a young woman

Margaret "Peggy" Ellen Hollis

March 3, 1942 – October 12, 2026

Margaret "Peggy" Ellen Hollis, 84, passed away on October 12, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 3, 1942, in Dothan, Alabama, and taught third grade at Pine Hill Elementary for 31 years.

Peggy loved her garden, Wednesday suppers at church and a good game of gin rummy. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter; her children, Anne (David) Pruitt and James Hollis; five grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Cole.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, at Magnolia Chapel.

Portrait of Peggy Hollis as a young woman

Margaret "Peggy" Ellen Hollis

March 3, 1942 – October 12, 2026

Peggy was born in Dothan, Alabama, and died at home with her family beside her. She was 84. For 31 years she taught third grade at Pine Hill Elementary, which means there are grown people all over this county who learned to carry the one because of her, and who still stopped her by the tomatoes at the grocery store to say so.

A life is less a straight line than a map of everything it touched. Hers held a garden that fed half her street, a seat at Wednesday supper that was never empty, and a gin rummy hand she could win without looking at her cards, which she did often and without apology.

She continues in the beans that come up next spring, in the patience of the teachers she shaped, in the way her grandchildren hold their cards close.

Sample written for a fictional family; the portrait is an illustration. When the family's faith is part of their story, the Life Story uses their words for it.

Nothing new for your team to learn

1

Email the notes

Typed, a photo of the worksheet, or a voice memo from the car. Whatever your director already has.

2

We write and check

Both versions, the program text and the thank-you wording. A person checks every name, date and day of the week. If something's missing, we ask.

3

The family approves

You share both versions. They pick one or mix the two. Two rounds of changes are included, usually back the same day.

A note from the founder

I grew up in Florida and spent years in real estate, helping families through some of the biggest moves of their lives. I learned that people never forget how a hard week was handled.

I started Obituary Partners so the people who care for families at their hardest moment don't also have to be writers at 10 p.m. Send me your next three. If they're not better than what you'd have written tonight, you've lost nothing.

Questions owners ask

Is this written by AI?

We use AI to draft quickly, and a person checks every name, date and survivor before it reaches you. You get the speed without the risk.

Will it sound like a template?

No. We write only from your notes and the family's own stories, in the words they use. If the notes are thin, we send questions instead of filling gaps.

What about faith?

We follow the family's tradition exactly as you describe it, and never add religious language that isn't theirs.

Can you write the eulogy too?

Yes. The person who will speak answers five short questions or records a voice memo, and we write it in their voice, ready to read aloud. It's $145, and you set the family's price.

Will families know you're involved?

No. Everything goes out under your funeral home's name. We never contact families.

How do you keep family information private?

Notes are used only to write your pieces, and we never publish a home address in an obituary.

What does it take to start?

One email. Send the notes for your next family to notes@obituarypartners.com and you'll have both versions within two business hours.

Send us your next three families. It's on us.

No card. No contract. Just better obituaries, back in two hours.
